About

I did the job before I coached it

I spent twenty five years in sales, supply chain, sales operations, account management, and program management before I coached any of it. Thirteen of those years were at Domtar, where I managed export logistics and ran programs across multiple locations nationwide. I went on to Ponderay Newsprint, and I was there when the mill closed for good and people found out their jobs were gone.

That is the part that shaped how I coach. I am not interested in the version of leadership that only works when everything is funded and calm. I work with managers in the middle of the real thing.

I hold a B.S. in Business Administration and Management with a concentration in Marketing from the University of South Carolina Upstate. I am the creator of the Professional Reset framework and the author of several books on professionalism, leadership, and career strategy.
